Skinner accepts NASPA position
RICHMOND, Va., June 10, 2008 - The National Alliance of State Pharmacy Associations (NASPA) is pleased to announce the hiring of Molly Skinner, for the position of Executive Resident.
Skinner, born in Phoenix, is a graduate of Northern Arizona University with a BS in Chemistry, a second BS in Nutrition Science and a Minor in Business Administration. She is also a graduate of Midwestern University, College of Pharmacy-Glendale, former APhA-ASP chapter president, former student board member of the Arizona Pharmacy Alliance and APhA-ASP Senior Mortar and Pestle award winner.
Skinner also completed a managed care residency at Group Health Cooperative in Seattle.
In her role with NASPA, Skinner will focus on enhancing the value of NASPA to its members and learning about association management. Project areas will include, assisting NASPA members with their focused activities around the implementation plan for the Joint Commission of Pharmacy Practitioners (JCPP) 2015 Vision for the practice of pharmacy, the value of the pharmacists assuring optimal medication therapy outcomes, PQA quality measures, patient safety, and enhancing and streamlining communication for NASPA.
“Our hope at NASPA is that Molly will enhance the relationship between the state associations and the associate members,” said Rebecca Snead, NASPA EVP/CEO.

The National Alliance of State Pharmacy Associations (NASPA) promotes leadership, sharing, learning, and policy exchange among pharmacy leaders in all 50 states and Washington, DC, and provides education and advocacy to support pharmacists, patients, and communities working together to improve public health. NASPA was founded in 1927 as the National Council of State Pharmacy Association Executives (NCSPAE).
